Launch of the government of Uganda & United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperarion framework 2026

On 22nd October I was honored to moderate at the launch of the government of Uganda and the United Nations Sustainable Development cooperarion framework 2026 – 30 signing ceremony.

The Government of Uganda rwas represented by the prime minister Rt.Hon Robina Nabbanja while the United Nations was represented by Mr.Leonard Zulu the Resident coordinator. Various UN agencies including UNODC World Health Organization UNICEF UNDP UN Women among others were present to witness the commitment.
The UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2021-2025 aims to support the Government achieve the objectives of it’s National Development Plan (NDP) which is currently at phase 4, Vision 2040 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The event also was a celebration of 80 years of the united nations’ existance since its birth on 24th October 1945, which was actually less than two months after the end of World war two.
